Audit Staff or Audit Senior Staff
The position:
- Primarily audits, reviews and compilations
- Particularly closely held businesses
- Various industries including manufacturing, construction, service entities, not-for-profit
- Technical knowledge of GAAP and accounting and auditing standards
- Preparation of financial statements and required disclosures
- Ability to research and resolve technical issues
- Involves significant client contact, communication, site visits and meetings
- Involves interaction with tax services of firm
- Requires constant and direct communication with team and partner
- Ability to manage multiple clients, deadlines
The person:
- BA or BS in accounting
- Experience in public accounting helpful
- Personable and well spoken
- Professional appearance
- Excellent writing skills
- Self-motivated
- Takes initiative but also takes direction
- Forward thinking and able to contribute new ideas
- Demonstrates good judgment
- Works well under pressure
